- Oishida Station is the rail end of the journey; the onsen itself has no station, so the last leg is by bus or taxi from there.
- Obanazawa City publishes an official sightseeing map covering the Ginzan-to-Oishida corridor in Japanese, English and Traditional Chinese, with English commentary produced through the Japan Tourism Agency. It is more reliable than a blog map.
